My Dad was a very special man. Stern, yet caring, wise, but humble.  He molded four rambunctious boys into caring and principled men by infusing our lives with an overabundance of love, support, discipline and encouragement, but mostly…… by example.

  • Instead of just asking us to cut the yard.  He showed us how.
  • Instead of just hoping we’d to learn how to ride a bike.  He showed us how.
  • Instead of just asking us to wash the car.  He showed us how.
  • Instead of just letting us get away with seemingly small things.  He held us accountable for our choices and actions.
  • Instead of just hoping we’d learn how to drive.  He showed us how.
  • Instead of just hoping we’d learn how to tie a tie.  He showed us how.
  • Instead of just telling us the importance of keeping your word.  He showed us what it means to have integrity.
  • Instead of just telling us to always do our best.  He showed us what good looks like.
  • Instead of just telling us the importance of letting those you love, know it.  He showed us the impact of doing so.
  • Instead of just telling us how you should treat a woman.  He showed us, every day.
  • Instead of just telling us what it meant to be a man.  He showed us, every day.
  • Instead of just telling us that he loved us.  He showered us with love, every day.

I really miss……….. My Dad
