There are moments in life when it seems the past and the future cosmically collide into the present, creating a humbling and daunting reality no longer devoid of substance or facts. Likewise, there are times when our perceptions of a recent past and an immediate future unite and present themselves as one.  It’s as if those diametrical states converge magnetically, then cascade into the present with a tidal wave of perplexing emotions.

Foreseeable life events previously classified as nonurgent or unimaginable premonitions arrive on our shores hard, penetrating the real world, unannounced and without explanation or remorse.  When things change, then things change. The constant and universal challenge of being human lies in our willingness to accept and adapt to the unique circumstances dictated by life.

Nothing stays the same, except for our mindset, if we so choose. Stagnation creates an increasing amount of distance from reality over time.  In the end, our evolution is the only logical remedy that allows us to embrace and optimize the complex hand that each of us is dealt.
