We cross paths with so many individuals along our life’s journey. All of us are trying to navigate through this thing called life. Some encounters are intentionally fleeting, consisting of a glance or solitary word. Others last a little longer, perhaps a few minutes, hours, or maybe a day if we are lucky. But, when we leave the door to our mind and heart open, the blessings of lifelong friendships arrive and enter.
Those special relationships through divine providence or chance rendezvous become an integral part of our existence. Friends possess delicate but powerful footsteps that seem to move in complete alignment with the unique rhythm of our life. They effortlessly weave in and out of our existence at the right time, place, and moments with perfect synchronicity.
These special relationships with retraceable footprints have buttressed many of our storms, guiding us through the perpetual ebb and flow of life challenges, triumphs, and teachable moments when initiated by impulse, a memory, or the need for moral support. We seek them out, or vice versa, based on eternal alliances brokered through shared adversity conquered years, decades, or scores ago.
